I graduated in 2004 from the Lincoln School of Architecture, faculty of University of Lincoln in UK, with a Diploma in Architecture and a Postgraduate in Environmental Design.
I joined the technical services of the University within a young team of graduates that formed UL Architects. We were commissioned numerous projects for the new campuses and facilities of the University of Lincoln, and were able to attract national architectural media and win RIBA regional awards. During my employment in UL Architects I was also teaching second year students as a part time design tutor, which was a great and challenging experience.
After a year gap while completing my military service in the Ordnance Corps in Greece, I decided to enhance my experiences and looked for employment in continental Europe.
I was employed as an architect and technical designer by Massimiliano Fuksas Architetto in Rome. There I was involved in technical aspects and detailing for a commercial development in Bratislava, the Bory Mall.
For the last eight years I am based in Switzerland, currently as the lead architect for the National Museum of Qatar by Ateliers Jean Nouvel. I was detached for two years onsite in Doha where I gained a lifetime experience and made significant professional progress. In parallel to this project I participate in various projects at Eric Maria Architectes, a diverse and dynamic practice in Geneva, with local and international projects providing exceptional design standards and collaborating with regional specialists and consultants.
